Yash emerges..

April 29, 11.48am, 2008, baby Yash finally emerges, healthy and alert. (Thank God!) Mother is doing great too. I cried! Wow, what an experience. We believe that we control so much, that we can do things, worry about things, create fears, all in the name of 'taking care' of what we believe is in our control. Nonsense. The baby is born. Everything functions. We didn't do anything - I didn't put his finger in its place. I didn't ensure all his genes, DNA would create a baby. I didn't take care of the umbilical cord. I wish we could easily re-program ourselves so that automatic worry and fears are replaced by automatic positivity and confidence. Why did we forget this? Can we revert to our homeostasis state, of happiness, consciousness, bliss?

Buffet and Love

'I believe the most powerful force is love and that is the most effective way of dealing with people. I would not want to live a life where people are afraid of me. People don’t operate well under fear. Some circumstances where mutually assured destruction is the end result, fear is good. But not at Berkshire Hathaway, love is way better to operate.'
Warren Buffett in an interview with Sham Gad, when asked about fear and management. Feb 2007.

In the same interview, Buffett calls himself agnostic. I'ld use the word 'human'. All his years and years of tremedous experience and of technical and analytical research has led him to this conclusion! What would all the business magazines, newspapers and Universities say? Now, if only they would teach this in college...
